Difference a Quality Image Resolution.
On the creation of a new document to Photoshop by default is RGB color mode, resolution is 72 pixels/inch. For design newbies may not quite understand about the resolution RGB color mode. because with a resolution of 72 pixels/inch will result in less maximal image for printing/offset with the 150/175 Lpi. To print standard at large Photoshop files are resolution 300 pixels/inch, not per cm for file 100% usage.
Resolution of differences 72dpi with 300dpi
for the display on the monitor for a 72 dpi resolution files or 300 dpi is not so visible, but for prints 150/175 lpi is much different. As for the color mode RGB with CMYK would produce different colors in the print result. Therefore, if your designers might suppose if I may suggest to CMYK color mode Photoshop file and a resolution of 300 DPI. Hopefully the explanation above is useful.
